Well, the second wedding/family trip of the summer is about to commense.
Tomorrow Darin & I head off to Springdale, AR for the wedding of my highschool pal, Amy. She's Sophiabeene on my contacts. The nuptuials take place on Sunday at Magnolia Gardens. This is ecspecially cool cause "Magnolia" is my nickname for Amy.
Then Monday finds Dar & I starting a 13 hr excursion that starts in Springdale, AR & ends in Cuchara, CO. As we head up to meet up with the family (including Miah's girlfriend Jannine) @ the cabin. We will be there until Thursday. While in CO we plan on taking the cog rail train up Pike's Peak. Dad says it's an experience not to be missed! I get my love of heights from him. **grin**
Friday morning I take Darin to the airport so he can catch a plane to Ontario, CA to visit our sister Lisa & her fiancee, Alan. (that's fun to say!!) That night, the 11th, they're going to a Ben Harper concert. They stink. I will be on my way to Wichita for the fabulous wedding of Jack & Chris. My favourite Carbar is an oh-so-pretty bridesmaide! I'll get to visit my all-time-fav Matt Snyder & hopefully a bunch of other people before coming home that Sunday. School & work start the 14th, so quick trip...
If I'm out of contact for a couple days (no longer than usual probably)...there's why! I hope everybody else on the road has a safe journey, too. | | |
